Founded in 1944, in a small pastry shop on Viale Monza in Milan, the enterprising Angelo Vergani started his own bakery. Now, Vergani is celebrated for its traditional panettone and other holiday treats.
Based on the traditional recipe, this Italian Christmas cake is made with natural yeast that founder Angelo Vergani created many years ago and is an ultra-soft Christmas cake with a rain of dark chocolate chips and ginger cubes that make it an authentic masterpiece of goodness.
